Hi, I saw your article about the service dogs for MS. My sister has an auto immune disorder and is still not fully diagnosed. All of the muscles in her entire body will lock up and she is unable to move and in a lot of pain. After, she is very weak and needs assistance moving for a few hours/days. Is it possible for a dog to be trained to alert her before her muscles seize up? The support part (like in the MS post) would be very beneficial as well. Any comments would be great. Thank you!

Paige, Thanks for leaving a note but it more appropriate that you reach out to someone who is involved in MS and related efforts. The article on the MS service dogs was done some time ago and has resources for the dogs but it is not something I have knowledge or expertise in. Wishing you luck in your search.

Guess what I am about to graduate from a course in cat psychology and training All I have to do is one lesson and project and I can sit for my exam in cat psychology and training. I am learning about the psychology and the behavior of cats. I would do good in the areas of cat socializing and enrichment. I am having trouble a job. most places do not hire people to pet and play with cats. I love cats that I am willing to continue volunteer. I am finding out the only places hire people to walk dogs and clean cages. I am physically handicapped however I have a way with cats. I am wondering if you ever offer a certificate course in the areas of cat socializing, enrichment, and playing with cats cats are beautiful I love cats very deeply I feel honored and humble from terese the cat lover

Can you please tell me what kind of education/ training one needs to be in your field? I have been working for almost 30 years as a speech-language pathologist. But my real love is animals. How do I go about getting into this field ? Thank you! Your response is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Mary Chase

Hi, I am currently doing a report on the deforestation of the mountain lion's natural habitat. I found your page helpful, but I am also having a hard time finding out about what would happen to the environment if the mountain lion went extinct. Is there any information/opinions you could give me?

I just wanted to say thanks for all the articles you have been writing about animal training. They've been interesting and helpful. I enjoy when you share some of your stories.
